Servicemen of the Izmail border detachment detained three citizens of Ukraine nearby the Vynohradivka village of the Bolhrad district.

According to the information about unknown persons in the border village, border guards had cut off possible directions for the movement of the violators. A border patrol with the help thermal imager detected the movement of the group of people to the state border with Moldova. Border offenders ignored several requirements to stop their movement and tried to escape, border guards fired warning shots in the air to stop border violation. Law enforcement officers found out that the detainees tried to enter European countries across Moldova.

Servicemen of the SBGSU drew up the protocols for the attempt of illegal border crossing and malicious disobedience. The violators’ future will be decided by the court.
