Border guards together with the Police and the Prosecutor's Office detained ship that took people to Crimea illegally

On June 8, in Odesa region, servicemen of State Border Guard Service of Ukraine together with the National Police seized the «Bospor» ship (sailing under the Moldavian flag) which illegally transported people (sailors) through the state border.

As it turned out, during 2015-2017 violators, using the vessels, illegally transferred sailors from Odesa and Kherson oblasts, through the closed checkpoints, to the Russian-occupied Crimean Peninsula
Besides, over two years, the Bospor shipped about 100 citizens from Kherson and Odesa oblasts to Crimea.
The total amount of seized property is approximately 44.5 million UAH. Now further measures on criminal proceedings are continuing.
