The scheme of illegal sale of off-road cars was exposed in Kyiv region according to the information of employees of the State Border Guard Service Main Operative-Investigative Department of separate checkpoint «Kyiv» together with detectives of the Bureau

It was preliminarily established that the dealers brought cars to Ukraine under the guise of humanitarian aid for public organizations and military units. However, the vehicles were sold later at one of the car parks in the capital, popular Internet platforms and Telegram channels. Offenders accepted any currency, including crypto.

Crime detection measures were carried out with the force support of the border guard mobile unit Dozor.

Now, law enforcement officers have withdrawn seven cars. According to preliminary data, the amount of the assessment was 1.5 million UAH.

Investigations have been initiated.
