Personnel of the State Border Guard Service participate within the Defense Forces of Ukraine in the repulse and deterrence of russian armed aggression.

The other day, the border guards discovered an enemy UAV flying over their stronghold. The enemy’s drone carried out aerial reconnaissance and adjusted the artillery fire of the russian occupation forces on our forces in Donetsk region.

The border guards brought down the invaders’ drone by concentrated fire from firearms and crew-served weapons. The downed drone fell down not far from the positions of the border guard unit. As the enemy lost their aerial reconnaissance capabilities, the accuracy of the shelling decreased. Subsequently the firing stopped altogether.
