Border guards detected smugglers who tried to transport several thousand packs of cigarettes across the Ukrainian-Romanian border.

According to the operational information, servicemen of Chernivtsi border detachment detected 4 persons with packages on their backs.

Unknown persons tried to deliver contraband cigarettes to the unreachable mountain section of the border with Romania. Warning shots didn't stop the smugglers. Border guards found black packages with almost 4 thousand packs of cigarettes. Seized goods were estimated almost 180 thousand UAH.
