Servicemen of the SBGSU as a part of the Defense Forces of Ukraine are defending the town-fortress Bakhmut during the day and in night.

A border guard unit during the night two times was fighting against occupiers. The assault teams of russian invaders tried to approach our defenders’ positions under cover of darkness. Our defenders with the help of a thermal imager detected the enemy’s movement. Border guards let them approach for small arms distance and opened fire with small arms and grenade launchers.

After a failed attempt at the assault, they used reserves and tried to break through the defense again. They couldn’t. The enemy retreated with losses at dawn.

Border guards, while repelling the attack, liquidated at least 9 invaders: 3 were killed and 6 were wounded.
