Russian invaders keep offensive on Bakhmut. Border guards together with brothers of the Defence Forces of Ukraine keep their positions in this fortress-town.

Under the cover of artillery strikes occupiers tried to capture the first line of defence. Border guards waited out the shelling in the shelters and after they spotted approach of enemy infantry opened fire. The attempt of assault failed, after suffered losses enemy started to escape.

Ukrainian “green berets” noticed panic departure of enemy forces and together with the AFU made counter offensive. Our defenders with rapid attack captured enemy’s positions and the invaders continued to departure deeply in the rear area. During the battle, 9 invaders were killed, and 20 more injured. Now, Defence Forces of Ukraine got ahead 300 meters and gain foothold on new positions.
