Soldiers of the State Border Guard Service, being a part of the Defense Forces of Ukraine, are repelling constant enemy assaults on the fortress city. The invaders have intensified their efforts ahead of the anniversary of the invasion.

At the forefront, the enemy traditionally deploy mercenary soldiers from the wagner group.

The enemy were actively firing at our defenders' positions with tanks, artillery, and mortars. From midday, the enemy started active “human wave attacks”. First, they tried to break through the defense with small groups of soldiers; then at nightfall, they started to involve larger groups of mercenaries. In some areas, the occupiers were attempting to break through our defense until late at night.

The border guards bravely repelled the enemy's attacks. With intense gunfire from small arms and mortars, they managed to scatter enemy forces, inflict significant losses on the attackers, and force them to retreat. Meanwhile, four wagner mercenaries entrenched themselves in a building near Ukrainian positions and began firing at the flank of the border guards' stronghold. The State Border Guard Service soldiers eliminated these enemy mercenaries by throwing grenades at them. Other losses of the aggressors are still being investigated.
