Border guards received technical assistance from the Odesa community on the eve of the New Year holidays

Within the framework of the city target program "Safe City of Odesa", the border guards of the Southern Regional Directorate received modern equipment, medical equipment and the latest vehicles.

The celebrations were attended by First Deputy Head of the Odesa Regional State Administration Borys Voloshenkov, Head of the Southern Regional Directorate Serhii Mul, heads of law enforcement agencies.

Thanks to the support of local authorities, border guards received two Renault Duster and one Volkswagen T6. Also, 47 computers, 27 telephones, printers, batteries for radio stations, and an uninterruptible power supply were purchased for the needs of border guards.

Borys Voloshenkov presented computer equipment, medical equipment and cars certificates to the border guards.

Oxygen concentrators and pulse oximeters were donated to the Military Medical Clinical Center in Odesa, and border guards received protective medical suits and automatic dispensers for disinfection. New technical means will significantly increase the effectiveness of guarding the state border of Ukraine, the ability to stop illegal activities, as well as provide law enforcement agencies with quality medical care.

The Head of the Southern Regional Directorate thanked the authorities for their constant support and comprehensive assistance to the agency in fulfilling its tasks of protecting the state border.
