Border guards of the Chop Detachment prevented the illegal export of a two-year-old child by a foreign father who had abducted her from her mother.

The woman previously informed border guards about a possible attempt to take their daughter out of Ukraine by the father – a citizen of Iraq. She reported that the foreigner had kidnapped the child and was likely to try to leave with her in an unknown direction. The information was sent to all BCPs on the state border.

The man arrived with the child at the railway BCP "Chop (Druzhba)". He planned to go by train to Hungary. During the examination of the documents, it was found out that the man was indeed taking the girl without the mother's permission.

Officers of the National Police were called at the scene, and the foreigner and the child were handed over to them for further legal action.
