On the basis of the Center for training for application and operation of the unmanned aerial systems of the Main Center, an annual mandatory inspection of personnel who have access to self-operation of unmanned aerial vehicles of the multicopter type was conducted.

Officers of operative-search divisions of the Southern Regional Department, Odesa, Kherson, Luhansk, Podilsky, Kharkiv, Sumy Border Guard Detachments, Odesa Marine Guard Detachment and the National Academy of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine were inspected.

During the inspection, border guards confirmed the required level of knowledge of regulations and administrative documents.

The servicemen considered issues related to the organization and execution of flights, aviation engineering support, structure and procedure for the use of Ukrainian airspace, etc.

During the training and control flights, the staff confirmed the required level of skills in conducting aerial monitoring of the training area of ​​the state border. Border guards flew in order to identify signs of illegal activities, search for violators of Ukrainian legislation on border issues, accompany them and guide border patrol to find them.

The State Border Guard Service has sufficient weaponry, high combat training and patriotism to ensure reliable border protection.
