The representatives of the Ukrainian State Border Guard Service of Ukraine visited Helsinki with studying purpose in the framework of the second phase of “New border face” project.

Representatives of border guard units who were already joined “New border face” project participated in this event.

During the visit, officers of the State Border Guard Service got acquainted with the procedure of border control executed by the representatives of Border Protection of Finland. In particular, our partners showed the procedure of documents check, administrative investigation, and crimes prevention methods, technical support of border control.

Chief of Finnish border unit told about the system of organization and border unit management, specifics of border control of persons, vehicles and goods at the border crossing points. Besides, participants of the event gave an opportunity to get acquainted with technical support, personnel training system, as well, told about the new approaches in organization and implementation of border control.

Ukrainian border guards shared the experience of border control at the aviation border crossing point. In particular, representatives of Ukraine represented “Boryspil” border crossing point.
