A border patrol of the Nismychi border guard division on the outskirts of one of the settlements of Chervonohrad district, near the border with Poland, stopped a BMW car for inspection.

The foreign-registered car was driven by a Turkish citizen. Except for him in the car there were five of his compatriots. Foreigners had identity documents with them.

During the interview, the foreigners tried to convince the border guards that they were following the city of Chervonohrad. However, it later became known that four of them had agreed with their comrades to travel by car from Odessa to one of the settlements in the border area, in order to reach the EU countries illegally.

Border guards found out that the foreigners arrived in Ukraine legally. Two of them study in one of the educational institutions of Odessa and have temporary residence permits in Ukraine.

Violators were taken to the border unit for further inspection and preparation of relevant administrative documents.

The future of foreigners will be decided by a court.
