The military men of Sumy border guard detachment left to participate in the exercises within the framework of the Joint Multinational Training Group - Ukraine (JMTG-U).

As part of the JMTG-U, military men of Ukraine's armed forces are trained according to NATO standards and are able to work in cooperation with units of NATO member states.

Appropriate training is provided not only to the leadership and personnel of the involved units, but also to officers of border guard detachments and the National Academy of the State Border Guard Service.

This year, within the framework of JMTG-U, the border guards of Sumy border guard detachment will train to act and interact according to NATO standards together with servicemen of one of the brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

This year the exercises will be continued until the end of April.

It should be noted that border guards of Sumy border guard detachment are taking part in such exercises for the first time.
