More than 20 kilograms of amber found servicemen of Lviv Border Guard Detachment and  employees of the Fiscal Service on the Ukrainian-Polish border.

The amber was hidden in a gas cylinder. The Ukrainian tried to take the smuggled goods to neighboring Poland through the checkpoint “Ustyluh” by his car “Ford”.

All smuggled goods were  seized according to the law. The total weight of seized amber was 21.7 kilograms. Besides, the car will likely also be seized as a means of moving the contraband.

The amount of confiscated goods are determined.
