Units of the State Border Guard Service, as part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, repel attacks by russian-occupation forces on the fortress city of Bakhmut.

During the day, enemy forces attacked the strong point of one of the border units twice. Assault troops, covered by artillery fire, approached the position and tried to surround it.

Border guards engaged in positional combat to stop the enemy's intentions. In firefights, they neutralized some of the attackers and eliminated the threat of encirclement. The rest of the mercenaries fled under fire.

The enemy's assault was unsuccessful, and they retreated. The losses of the occupiers amounted to 7 people: 3 were killed, and 4 were wounded.
