On Bukovyna border guards detained unmanned aerial vehicle, which violators tried to use for delivering of tobacco products smuggling to Romania.

Border patrol of “Krasnoilsk” border guard division heard the noise of the engine of unknown flying object. Response team started to search measures and installed the course of flying vehicle than conducted force landing with the assistance of technical equipment.

During the inspection of the flying vehicle, which transported the box with tobacco products, border guards found out that aircraft is “quadcopter” type. Now, border guards are determining all circumstances of violation and searching concerned persons.

After finishing paperwork, servicemen of the SBGSU will transfer detained UAV to law enforcement officers with message about detection the signs of criminal violation.
