In the evening, Russian-occupied forces began a series of assault attacks on the positions of our defenders on the outskirts of Bakhmut. The battle with short breaks lasted until morning. The aggressor country's infantry acted with the support of artillery and multiple launch rocket systems, including the use of cluster munitions.

Mortar crews and aerial reconnaissance were actively used to eliminate the attackers. In direct clashes, border guards inflicted fire damage on the enemy with small arms. Despite the destruction of some fortifications from shelling, our defenders held the defensive line. During the unsuccessful assault, the aggressors reportedly lost 31 people - 8 killed and 23 wounded.
