Servicemen of the State Border Guard Service together with their brothers and sisters from the Defense Forces of Ukraine are holding back the russian occupation troops near the fortress towns of Bakhmut and Soledar.

The enemy continues attempts to assault the strongholds of Ukrainian defenders with infantry units. Moreover, the fire activity of the invaders' artillery remains high.

Thus, the occupants carried out five attacks on different border guard units’ positions involved in defense in the Bakhmut direction. All storming attempts were successfully repelled by fire from small arms and group weapons. The enemy retreated, its losses are being clarified.
