The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine constantly maintains a high level of combat training, which is provided by special training programs. During field exercises, border guards increase their level of personal competence and ability to act as a part of a unit.

Recently, Donetsk and Kramatorsk Border Guard Detachments personnel (members of the Joint Forces) took part in practical exercises in firing the AGS-17 automatic grenade launchers.

The servicemen had practice in deploying, moving and delivering fire from the AGS-17. During the exercise, border guards improved their skills in solving fire tasks using crew-served weapons, as well as trained to aim at targets on different trajectories.

As a result of exercises, the personnel performed all training and combat tasks. It should be noted that in order to maintain a high level of combat training, considerable attention will continue to be paid to the implementation of the practical part of training programs.
