Border guards of Mukachevo border guard detachment exposed two residents of Tiachiv, aged 19 and 27, who were travelling to the border with forged pension certificates.

The men were attempting to leave for Hungary with documents indicating disability pensions. They both chose Luzhanka border crossing point to cross the border.

After detecting signs of document forgery, the border guards notified the National Police about the actions of the Ukrainians, which fall under the crime outlined in Part 4 of Article 358 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine “Forgery of documents, seals, stamps, and forms, sale or use of forged documents, seals, stamps,” as well as Article 336 “Evasion from conscription for military service during mobilization, in a special period, for military service by conscription for reservists in a special period.”
