Five conscripts, who came into the sight of a joint border patrol from the "Dyakove" and "Mukachevo" divisions of the Mukachevo detachment, were apprehended in Zakarpattia.

During the verification of information regarding a possible illegal border crossing, military personnel using a mobile thermal imaging complex detected a group of individuals heading towards the border with Romania.

A rapid response team immediately deployed to search for the perpetrators. Despite their attempt to escape, all offenders were apprehended by the border guards. Two out of the five were identified as smugglers. They charged $3,000 per "client" for their services. The cunning smugglers extensively prepared for their operation, equipping themselves with night vision devices and three radios, guaranteeing a successful "transfer" across the border for their "clients." However, they could not elude the border patrol.

Two more border violators were stopped by military personnel from the "Tyachiv" division.

Currently, the border guards are establishing all the details of the attempted illegal border crossing and identifying individuals involved in organizing unlawful activities.

Protocols for administrative offenses have been drawn up against the detainees, and the cases will be forwarded to court.
