According to operational information, border guards of the Berdiansk border guard detachment found two people on the coast of the Sea of ​​Azov. Violators on a small vessel, type “Kazanka-2M”, with the help of prohibited fishing gear illegally caught aquatic bioresources. In the catch of poachers, among the mostly pilengas there were two sturgeons, which are listed in the Red Book of Ukraine. According to experts, the amount of damage caused to the state is about 115 thousand UAH.

Aquatic living resources are released into the natural environment in living form.

The offenders were handed over to the National Police.
