The driver of the Mazda was stopped for inspection while entering Kyiv.

During a search of his car, border guards found a smoothbore weapon, three equipped magazines, one empty and 5.45, 7.62 and 308 caliber rounds.

The man had a hunter's license with him, but it did not belong to him. The man did not have any weapons permits or documents confirming his membership in the military.

Weapons and ammunition were confiscated from the citizen and handed over to the National Police for further legal action.
