Soldiers of the Volyn Border Guard Detachment stopped two attempts to smuggle cigarettes across the border.

A Volvo truck arrived at the Domanove border crossing point. A citizen of Belarus was driving a truck bound for Ukraine. During the inspection of the vehicle, border guards found hidden tobacco products in the cabin. A foreigner hid 100 packs of Belarusian cigarettes under the car seat.

Another truck driver tried to transport almost 400 packs of excise-free tobacco products to Poland through the Yahodyn border crossing point. Our compatriot carefully packed them in black polyethylene and hid them under the mattress. However, the inspection group found a contraband.

Revealed smuggling was removed in the prescribed manner.
