At the "Mohyliv-Podilskyi" checkpoint border guards jointly with customs officers detected a significant amount of undeclared funds from a Ukrainian citizen.

During the inspection of a Toyota car that was traveling to Ukraine, a joint inspection group found a hiding place with foreign currency amounting to 57,000 USD.

The stash was equipped in the car's cabin under the dashboard. The owner of the funds turned out to be a resident of Cherkasy region, born in 1979.

Currently, the undeclared currency has been confiscated in accordance with established procedures. The offender has been issued with relevant procedural documents.
