Border guards of the Odessa BG detachment found a foreigner with a forged passport and a fake ID card at the Odessa International Airport.

An Iranian citizen on a flight from Istanbul provided an Italian passport for border control. During the identification, border guards noticed that the document provided by the foreigner did not belong to him.

As it turned out, the 32-year-old man presented a foreign passport for verification, issued in the name of an Italian citizen who was 3 years older than him.

The man said that he intended to stay in Ukraine for a few days and then he wanted to get to Germany. In addition, he also had a forged ID-card of an Italian citizen.

During a conversation with the border guards, the foreigner admitted that he had bought an Italian citizen's passport and a forged ID card in Istanbul for 4,000 euros. Later, in the man's personal belongings, the law enforcement officers found his real passport of an Iranian citizen, which he intentionally damaged before boarding the plane.

Border guards confiscated forged documents, banned the foreigner from entering Ukraine for 3 years and returned him on a return flight to Turkey.
