The district inspector of the border service of the Krasna Talivka BG division was performing his duty when he noticed a fresh path leading to a long-abandoned building. While inspecting the premises, the inspector noticed a fireplace, which was carefully disguised from the inside, in which a MON-50 anti-personnel mine was visible.

The border guard informed the border detachment about the dangerous find. Border guards of the Luhansk detachment immediately arrived at the place, organized a security guard and called the SES officers.

The pyrotechnic team withdrew almost 400 grams of explosives (plastid and TNT) from the cache, as well as the MON-50 anti-personnel mine, 29 rounds of ammunition for small arms of various calibers, a magazine for AK-47, two signal mines and means for their installation.

A message about the signs of a criminal offense was sent to the National Police.

Measures are being taken to identify those involved in the illegal activities.
