BORDER GUARDS FOUND A CAR PACKED WITH CIGARETTES AT THE BORDER WITH POLAND

The driver was traveling to a neighboring country via the Shehyni border crossing point.
At the border with Poland, border guards of the Lviv Border Guard Detachment stopped a minibus – “Mercedes” driven by a 53-year-old citizen of Ukraine.

During the verification of operational information, border guards decided to conduct a detailed inspection of the car. During the inspection, border guards together with customs officers found hidden cigarettes.
The servicemen got 1770 packs of cigarettes from constructive cavities of the car.
The cigarettes and the car were confiscated, the amount of the assessment will be set additionally.
