BORDER GUARDS EXPOSED TWO ATTEMPTS TO ILLEGALLY IMPORT DRUG-CONTAINING SUBSTANCES FROM POLAND IN LVIV REGION

The vehicles were additionally inspected at the initiative of border guards on the basis of a risk analysis. The inspection was carried out jointly with customs officers, in one case with the participation of a group of officers of the State Border Guard Service Administration, in another - by soldiers of the Dozor BG detachment.
In a point of fact, at the Shehyni BCP illicit items, in the form of tablets, suspensions and ampoules, have been found in the Mercedes minibus. Among personal belongings, the driver, a 30-year-old Ukrainian citizen, was carrying about 200 units of lorazepam, tramadol and diazepam.
And at the Rava-Ruska BCP, 120 Doreta tablets and one vial of Poltram, 100 ml, with the drug Tramadol were found in the Suzuki car. They were transported by a 54-year-old driver of a foreign car.
In both cases, the National Police was notified of the detection of signs of criminal offenses related to the illegal movement of drugs.
