An interagency group consisting of operational officers of Zhytomyr Border Guard Detachment and representatives of the National Police found a plantation of sleeping poppy bushes during investigative actions.

The operation was carried out in Varas district of Rivne region on the basis of a decision of Zarichne District Court in the framework of criminal proceedings initiated by the border guards.

Currently, 320 plant bushes have been seized and sent for examination.
