During an authorized search at the addresses of the persons involved in a criminal case in Yampil, law enforcement officers found a mini-shop for bottling counterfeit alcohol and tobacco products without excise stamps of Ukraine.

A joint interagency group consisting of operational officers of the State Border Guard Service, investigators of the National Police, under the procedural supervision of the Mohyliv-Podilskyi District Prosecutor's Office, has uncovered a location for the production and bottling of counterfeit products in the framework of criminal proceedings.

In general, the equipment for bottling counterfeit beverages and specially equipped containers, hoses, adapters, filters, a pump, and glass containers were found in a private household in an outbuilding.

In the premises, which the criminals used as a workshop, about 500 liters of liquid with a characteristic smell of alcohol, 100 liters of counterfeit alcoholic beverages under the brand name of a well-known Ukrainian brand, 100 liters of unlabeled alcoholic beverages and 1100 packs of cigarettes without excise stamps were found.

The investigation is ongoing to clarify all the circumstances of the offense.
