Authorized border guards and representatives of other government agencies in the Mohyliv-Podilskyi district conducted sanctioned inspections under the procedural guidance of the Mohyliv-Podilskyi District Prosecutor's Office.

In particular, in the facility, where there were 4 furnaces for the production of charcoal by pyrolysis, there was a considerable amount of packaging material. The bags in which the coal was packed included labels in a foreign language for further export of illegally manufactured goods to Romania and Moldova.

Investigative and operational measures were carried out by an interdepartmental group of operatives of the Mohyliv-Podilskyi Border guard Detachment, officers of the Mohyliv-Podilskyi District Police Department, with the armed support of the border guard special unit DOZOR, and with the involvement of specialists from the State Ecological Inspectorate in Vinnytsia Oblast.

Investigative actions continue. The monetary estimate of seized products and the amount of damage caused to the state by illegal activities will be established after the relevant examinations.
