Operational units of the Odesa border guard detachment and the Economic Security Bureau detectives exposed the seal enterprise's CEO who avoided taxes.

Law enforcement officers found out that the company was escaping taxes.

From 2021 to 2023, the enterprise, in violation of established customs legislation restrictions on disposal of property imported into the territory of Ukraine under the customs regime of "temporary importation," using benefits when paying customs duties, transferred a sea dry cargo ship for paid use to other enterprises. As a result of these actions, funds in the amount of UAH 8.6 million did not reach the budget.

During searches in the company's office premises, law enforcement officers found documents of financial and economic activities confirming their illegal activities.

Currently, the director of the maritime enterprise has been informed of suspicion of committing a criminal offense.
