At the border with Poland, officers of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine detained a Renault truck with 70 boxes of cigarettes without excise labels.

At the border with Poland, officers of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine detained a Renault truck with 70 boxes of cigarettes without excise labels.

A vehicle with hidden tobacco products was heading to a neighboring country through the Shehyni BCP. Border guards found the goods in the double ceiling of the truck body.

The vehicle is currently being inspected. The exact number of detected cigarettes is being clarified.

Measures to counter the transportation of smuggled goods across the border were conducted by a special inspection group consisting of officers of the State Border Guard Service, border guards of the Lviv BG detachment with the involvement of servicemen of the DOZOR special unit together with representatives of the SSU and SCSU.
