A citizen of Ukraine, who organized illegal transportation of men liable for call-up across the state border using forged stamps in passports, was recently exposed by the law enforcement officers.

In particular, it was found out that for a certain reward, a resident of Volyn region had set up an illegal scheme to make stamps of the Consular Offices of Ukraine on permanent residence and consular registration in passports, thereby assisting in the illegal departure of men liable for call-up abroad.

The offender was detained in Volyn region after receiving a reward in the amount of USD 800 from another client, who "ordered" from him an imprint and stamp of the General Consulate of Ukraine in Krakow on permanent residence in Poland and consular registration.

The measures were carried out within the framework of criminal proceedings by a joint interagency group of officers of the Operational and Investigative Department of the Chernivtsi Detachment, the Special Mobile Unit "Dozor", investigators of the Chernivtsi Main Regional Police Department of the National Police under the procedural supervision of the Chernivtsi and Volyn Prosecutor's Offices.
