The Main Operational and Investigative Department "Donetsk" of the 11th Border Guard Detachment received information about criminal activity in the cities of Myrnohrad and Kostiantynivka, Donetsk region.

A group of people was engaged in the manufacture and sale of amphetamine and other narcotic substances among local residents.

In order to identify and bring to justice the criminals who came to the attention of the border guards, the Criminal Investigation Department and the Investigation Department of the Main Department of the National Police in Donetsk region, under the procedural supervision of the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office and with the support of the KORD Special Forces unit, conducted 8 authorized searches at the residences and in 3 cars of eight persons involved in the organization and illegal sale of narcotic and psychotropic substances. As a result of the searches, cash in the amount of UAH 114680, USD 7000, bank cards, mobile terminals, and unknown drugs were found and seized: 4 zip lock bags with a white crystalline substance, 29 rolls with a powdery substance, 12 ampoules (4 tramadol, 8 morphine), 11 white pills and other drugs used by drug dealers in their criminal scheme.

Two persons involved in the criminal proceedings were served a notice of suspicion and custody was chosen as a measure of restraint.
