A minibus Mercedes-Benz Vito with a changed body identifier was revealed by border guards of the Mukachevo detachment.

A 47-year-old citizen of Ukraine was heading to Romania by car through the Solotvyno border crossing point.

During the inspection of the vehicle with Ukrainian registration, the border guard found out that the identification number of the body did not match the one indicated in the registration certificate. In addition, signs of mechanical intervention in the car's VIN number drawing were revealed.

An administrative report was drawn up regarding the driver.

A report about the signs of crime detection was sent to the Tiachiv police department of the National Police Department of Zakarpattia oblast.

The vehicle was confiscated from the citizen of Ukraine.
