The attempt of transporting goods illegally under the guise of humanitarian aid was stopped according to the operatives of the Lviv border guard detachment.

The 23-year-old man from Ivano-Frankivsk arrived in Ukraine via "Krakivets" border crossing point in a MAN truck. According to the documents produced for inspection, the vehicle was used to transport medical supplies for one of the charity organizations. However, during the inspection, the border guards together with the customs officials revealed goods, information about which was missing in the documents. Among the humanitarian aid, the truck driver tried to illegally move new clothes and shoes with a total weight of 500 kg.

According to this fact, the customs officials drew up a protocol. The goods, the value of which is being estimated, are confiscated in the established order.
