Border guard of Chernivtsi border guard detachment detected a group of people who tried to transfer above 20 boxes with tobacco products to Romania.

According to the operational information, border guards of Chernivtsi border guard detachment prevented of transferring a huge amount of cigarettes.

During the search operation response team found traces of violators. Then border guards found violators in 5 km to the state border. Border guards fired warning shoot to detain offenders. Smugglers leave their goods and escaped. In total they tried to transfer about 10 250 packs of cigarettes to adjacent Romania.

Now, border guards find out involved persons. The goods were delivered to the border guard division.
