Personnel from the Chop border detachment successfully thwarted an attempt to illegally transport cigarettes across the state border.

While inspecting a train at the "Pavlovo" border crossing point that was traveling from Ukraine to Slovakia, a service dog detected concealed cigarettes. Following the inspection, law enforcement officers discovered 440 packs of tobacco products without the required excise markings of Ukraine. The plastic bags containing tobacco products were affixed to the wall of the wagon using the magnets.

The identified cigarettes were handed over to the representatives of the National Police.
