Border guards of the Chernivtsi guard detachment detained 5 border violators who tried to enter Moldova and Romania illegally.

This night, operatives of the Chernivtsi border guard detachment, in cooperation with the border guard patrol of Kelmentsi border guard division, detained 3 men of conscription age, residents of Rivne and Kirovohrad regions, who tried to enter Moldova illegally.

The Ford car used by the offenders was stopped for inspection at one of Dnistrovskyi district BCPs of Chernivtsi region. The men were detained because they could not explain the purpose of their stay in the controlled border area. Currently, the border guards are investigating the circumstances of the car driver’s involvement in the organization of illegal transportation of "evaders" across the state border.

Two more men of conscription age were discovered by the border patrol of Bila Krynytsia border guard division in the area of ​​responsibility of the Porubne border guard division. Residents of Chernivtsi region were detained during an attempt to cross the Ukrainian-Romanian border illegally.

All offenders have been brought to justice.
