Recently, servicemen of the Kharkiv Border Guard Detachment detained a foreigner who was wanted in Ukraine.

A citizen of the Russian Federation, born in 1978, arrived at the Hoptivka border crossing point. The man was walking from Russia to Ukraine. During the inspection of documents, border guards found that the foreigner was wanted by law enforcement agencies of Ukraine on suspicion of committing a crime under Art. 121 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine “Intentional grievous bodily harm”.

For further legal decision, the Russian was handed over to the National Police of Ukraine.
