Nine conscripted men accompanied by two smugglers were detained in Transcarpathia by border guards of the Mukachevo border guard detachment together with cadets of the National Academy of Internal Affairs.

Offenders were exposed as a result of the implementation of information provided by officers of the operational and investigative department.

As part of the "West-2023" special operation, the border patrol of the "Solotvyno" border guard section at the checkpoint stopped a "Mercedes Vito" minibus, which was carrying 11 people, including nine residents of the Rivne region and two from Transcarpathia.

During the interview, operatives of the border guard detachment found out that the detained Transcarpathians - 29 and 59-year-old residents of the village of Dibrova, Tiachiv district, intended to cross the Ukrainian-Romanian border with nine men of conscription age.

For their services, the dealers planned to receive from 3 to 3.5 thousand dollars from each of their "clients".

Protocols were drawn up on the offenders about the administrative offenses committed by them, and the cases were referred to the court.

Regarding the detection of signs of crime in the actions of the Transcarpathians, the border guards sent a report to the Tiachiv Department of the National Police.
