As part of the operational and preventive measures «Rubizh-2022», the border guards of the Chernivtsi detachment detained a violator who is suspected of committing a serious crime.

According to the operatives of the detachment, the violator was stopped yesterday evening by the border guard detail of the Krasnoilsk department. A resident of Donetsk region, who was wanted for a previously committed crime, tried to cross illegally the border from Ukraine to Romania outside checkpoints.

After processing the relevant documents, the border guards handed the detainee to the National Police.
