The servicemen of the Novoselytsia Division of the Chop Detachment found three foreigners who intended to enter Slovakia illegally from Ukraine.

An alarm device “notified” the presence of unknown border guards near the state border. A response team with a search dog was immediately sent to the area of ​​operation, and the border area was reinforced with additional details.

During the search, border guards found two men in the woods heading towards the border. They were detained and continued to inspect the area. Subsequently, the military managed to detain another offender. The man tried to hide from militiamen among trees, however he was found by a service dog of border guards.

All three had passports of Turkish citizens and admitted their intention to travel to Slovakia and then to Western Europe.

Once the circumstances are established, foreigners will be brought to administrative responsibility.
