During the previous day, border guards of Chop border detachment detected 10 violators of the state border, four of them are foreigners.

Yesterday at midnight, servicemen of “Velykyi Bereznyi” border guard division obtained information about a possible attempt of illegal crossing the state border by a group of people. During the search operations, law enforcement officers detained four men who moved to the state border with Slovakia. The detainees had passports of Turkish citizens. Border guards found out that the foreigners arrived in Ukraine at the beginning of the year in a legal way with the purpose of employment.

Border guards delivered detainees to the border guard division. They will be prosecuted for the attempt at the illegal border crossing.

Also, near the state border servicemen of “Uzhhorod” border guard division detained three citizens of Ukraine who tried to cross the state border to Slovakia. Border guards spotted violators in a half of kilometer to the state border.

The others three who tried to cross the state border were detained one by one. They were detained in the dark by the servicemen of “Velykyi Bereznyi”, “Uzhhorod” and “Solomonovo” border guard divisions.
