Servicemen of Chop border detachment detained three citizens of Ukraine who tried to enter Slovakia illegally.

Border patrol of “Kniahynia” border guard division together with the operational unit of the border detachment and cadet of the University of Internal Affairs detected a suspicious unknown person. He was moving in the woods heading to the state border. The man had with him his Ukrainian passport and border guards found out that he is from Sumy region. He tried to cross the state border illegally and entered the EU countries.

Servicemen of “Huta” border guard division detained the other two violators. Border guards obtained information about the preparation of illegal border crossings.

According to further investigation of all circumstances border guards delivered detainees to the border guard division location.
