During the weekend, border guards of Chernivtsi border guard detachment detained 16 citizens of Ukraine who tried to cross the state border to Romania and Moldova illegally.

Servicemen of Chernivtsi border guard detachment stopped 2 bicyclists in accordance to documents inspection. Subsequently, border guards detected 3 more violators in hundred meters to the state border with Romania.  

Besides, during the weekend border guards detained 11 violators in 8 cases, who tried to cross the state border illegally.

In total, during last 2 months in the framework of operational measures «Rubizh-2022» detained 265 persons for the attempt of illegal border crossing.

All violators were delivered to the border guard divisions.
