At one of the checkpoints, border guards conducted control and inspection measures on passengers of a bus traveling to Kharkiv.

At the beginning of the inspection, a service dog of the border guards alerted to one of the passengers. During a thorough search conducted in collaboration with National Police officers, a one-kilogram package of white crystalline substance was found in the backpack of a 1980-born man. During the interview, the 43-year-old resident of Kharkiv confirmed that the substance discovered was a synthetic drug commonly known as " bath salts’

The detected substance was handed over to law enforcement officers for further investigation.
